It is expected that all players will attend training once per week.
We train on a Wednesday night. The rooms open at 5pm with the formal training beginning at 6pm.
All training takes place in the practice nets at the Loughnan Oval – next to the Paul Moerth Rooms (The Burnley Club Rooms).
The only appropriate training attire for consists of the Burnley black and gold training shirts that all players will receive once their fees have been paid. The only acceptable alternative shirt to wear at training is a white cricket shirt. Ripcurl shirts, Bell Beach surf legends 1976, AC/DC rock t shirts etc are unacceptable. If we are a true cricket club we want to look, train and play like a real cricket club – together.
Ensure you take appropriate and adequate safety measures when training. Always wear relevant protective gear including pads, gloves, protectors (box), helmets etc.
Players should make a genuine effort to partake in all batting, bowling and fielding drills as organised by the Training Coordinators.
