To all Burners Players,
The countdown to season 2023/24 is now on.
As many of you may already know, MyCricket is being discontinued this season. Cricket Australia are now making all competitions move to a new system called PlayHQ.
There are some significant changes that everyone needs to know:
1. This season, every player MUST REGISTER THEMSELVES to Play HQ. I can't do it for you like we used to do with MyCricket, but I'll assist you with it over the phone if you need help.
2. There is also an annual fee of $22.50 ($16.00 for Under 18's) that must be paid at registration. This is called the National Registration Fee. This fee does not come to the club, it goes to Cricket Australia and covers your insurance for the cricket season. All players (including life members) must pay this if they want to play Cricket this season.
3. The 3rd point is you have to register for each competition (MCA, ECA & ECA Vets). For example, if you play between the 2nd and 3rd XI's you will need to register for both the MCA and ECA Senior Competitions. The same applies if you play in the Vets and also one of the higher grades. You will not need to pay the National Registration Fee twice.

Once you have registered, I will then send you a separate email asking you to pay your season membership fee via bank transfer like we've done in previous seasons.
